Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Assistant to support our maintenance department. This role involves performing routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure the hotel remains in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and equipment.
- Perform basic repairs in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance tasks, repairs, and supply usage.
- Assist with preventive maintenance schedules to prevent equipment or facility issues.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance, building repair, or facilities support is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or trade certifications are a plus.
