Overview
** This is a Casual position ** We are looking for someone who has an extensive knowledge on hookah/seesha, who can handle packing and prepping the hookahs and can go above and beyond when serving customers. Hours would be 9pm to 2am.
Duties
- Serve hookahs promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist in the sanitation of tables, utensils, and dining areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance guest experience through upselling techniques.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Adhere to food / hookah safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
- Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Hookah setting up knowledge and how to attend the tables throughout their stay (coals, flavours etc)
- Ability to sanitize work areas effectively and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to assist guests effectively.
- Capability to upsell menu items creatively while understanding customer preferences.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
