Summary
We are seeking a Home Visitor to join our team in Medicine Hat. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our day home programs meet the highest standards of care and support for children and families. This is a part time position set at 25 hours per month with potential for that number to increase. Schedule is largely flexible and can work around another job if needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular visits to licensed day homes to monitor compliance and quality of care
- Provide support and guidance to educators and families
- Assess the needs of children and recommend appropriate resources
- Document observations and report on program effectiveness
- Assist in training and development of educators
- Promote best practices in early childhood education
- Ensure adherence to licensing regulations and standards
- Qualifications
- Level 3 ECE Certificate required
- Proven experience working with children, preferably in a childcare setting
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with regulations governing childcare services is an asset
