Whissell is currently looking for Rock Truck Operators with construction experience to join our Southern Alberta team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of articulated rock trucks to transport materials such as soil, rock, gravel, and debris on construction sites.
Essential Qualifications:
- Operate rock trucks in a safe and effective manner, following company and site-specific safety protocols.
- Transport earthwork materials to designated areas on-site.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and notify the maintenance team of required repairs.
- Communicate clearly with ground personnel, equipment operators, and supervisors to coordinate site activity.
- Follow all traffic and safety rules on the job site.
- Assist with general labor and other tasks as required.
