Health Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities
The role demands rigorous data analysis, epidemiological insight, and methodological support applied with the precision required for high-impact health research. Reporting to the Director of Software Development, the Health Research Analyst works with a multidisciplinary team and delivers the statistical and analytic expertise needed to advance assigned projects. Specific responsibilities include:
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses of large datasets, applying epidemiological and biostatistical methods to generate clear scientific outputs (tables, figures, models).
- Collaborate with team members on the design and implementation of survey logic, study protocols, data collection tools, and data management plans.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and manuscripts for internal and external audiences.
- Perform statistical analyses using multiple software platforms (e.g., SAS, R, STATA, SPSS) to test hypotheses, evaluate survey performance, track response trends, and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and application of mathematical models in data analysis.
- Stay current with literature and industry trends to inform project direction and strengthen team expertise.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards throughout all research activities.
- Undertake statistical data cleaning, imputation, weighting, and reporting of findings.
- Maintain standardized forms for both controlled and uncontrolled documents and ensure record keeping of critical tasks.
Requirements
- MSc in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in data analysis and biostatistics.
- A love of research.

- Demonstrated ability to maintain and analyze large and complex datasets.
- Advanced proficiency with statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, STATA, SPSS) and programming for data analysis.
- Expertise in summarizing data and analyses into accurate, publication-ready tables, figures, and models.
