This position is based at a Lab located in North Vancouver, plays a key role in ensuring students receive a comprehensive, hands-on educational experience that meets both regulatory standards and industry expectations. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical knowledge, a supportive teaching approach, and a commitment to student success.
This Part-Time role offers variable hours up to 24-32 hours per week and has the potential to lead to future advancements within the college.
Lab/Clinical date range: July-August 2025 (five weeks)
Rate Range: $33 to $37/hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate student learning in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings, providing guidance and support throughout.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, learning activities, and assessments aligned with course objectives.
- Supervise students during clinical placements, ensuring safe, ethical, and competent care practices.
- Ensure compliance with program accreditation standards, regulatory guidelines, and college policies.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and evaluations.
Qualifications:
-
Two or more years of full-time nursing experience – required.
- 2800 hours of nursing experience
- nursing experience must include working with older adults with complex health needs
- Nursing experience must include experience or orientation in home support and multi-level care

Ability to teach adult learners (mentoring / instructing)
- Provincial Instructors Diploma and previous experience or
- Aptitude and willingness to learn and obtain an Instructor Diploma (with our help)
