Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail. As a Handy Man, you will be responsible for performing various tasks that ensure the upkeep and functionality of residential or commercial properties. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on facilities and equipment
- Perform minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
- Assemble fixtures as needed
- Paint walls, doors, and other surfaces to maintain aesthetic appeal
- Install and repair locks and doors
- Remove/install windows for air condition installation
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients or management
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills
- Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools required for various repair tasks
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship
