Handyman

We are a rapidly growing company that has a lot of opportunity for advancement. We are currently looking to hire full-time Handyman to join our team. Assured is on the cutting edge of job management, using processes and technology to track and monitor its jobs. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in taping, painting, flooring and trim work. The Handy Man will be responsible for performing various work in residential or commercial settings.

Responsibility:

• Adheres to company Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Must be able to complete projects on a budget and on time
• Communicate issues with supervisors
• Have a reliable mode of transportation for travelling to and from job sites
• Willing to travel to the area being assigned for work
• Be physically fit to perform manual labour
• Have the ability to make safe decisions
• Practice cleanliness and ensure that they clean up after every job
• Maintain professionalism
• Have the ability to attire in appropriate, safe and professional construction clothing and protective equipment
• Performs other duties as required

Required:

• Have at least five years experience
• Possess extensive construction/labour background
• Possess critical thinking and forward-thinking skills
• Have a reliable vehicle and tools
• Possess attention to detail and delivering high quality work
• Committed to working safely
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for work
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in taping
• Experience in dry walling
• Experienced in priming and painting
• Experienced in trim installation
• Have own tools
• Have own Vehicle
• Driver’s License
