Location: Orono, Ontario
Reporting to: Guest Services Coordinator and Guest Services Manager
Start Date: November 2025


At Brimacombe ski area we don’t just offer skiing and snowboarding, we offer a place for all ages to get outside, enjoy the fresh air and create memorable family experiences! We are currently seeking outgoing, customer-focused team members to help us turn everyday visits into wonderful winter memories.

As a supervisor in our Guest Services department, you will take a lead role in creating unforgettable customer experiences, as well as defining the culture of our team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction, oversight and support to Guest Services Team Members while on shift ensuring accountability to Brimacombe's policies, procedures and standards
  • Monitor attendance and manage staff schedule/positions/hours while on shift, ensuring designated breaks and responding to changes in sales levels by making appropriate schedule adjustments
  • Accountable for all cash handling, including safe management, till management and end-of-day reporting on shift, as well as enforcing cash controls
  • Lead by example in the promotion and processing of Brimacombe products and services
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service ensuring positive guest interactions and experiences
  • Take responsibility for all customer inquiries in person, over phone and over email
  • Take the lead in ensuring public spaces in and around the chalets are maintained to Brimacombe's standards for positive guest experience
  • Deliver support and decisions in the prevention/resolution of customer issues and concerns
  • Provide administrative support, completing all required paperwork, documentation, filing, etc.
  • Act as the Main Office point person on two-way radio to dispatch calls for Operations and Ski Patrol, while on shift
  • Provide support to the Guest Services management with staff training and development, as requested
  • Review all directed communications and take the initiative to stay informed of all Brimacombe activities including promotions, special events and marketing campaigns, as well as updates to policies and procedures
  • Ready to take on any challenge or help other team members when needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a customer service, leadership and/or supervisor role preferred
  • Previous cash handling and/or cashier experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge and comfort with computers including the Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale software
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Good with numbers (strong mathematical skills)
  • Customer satisfaction-oriented
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work as a team player
  • Successful completion of an OSSD, or equivalent experience
