2025–26 Season
The Greater Toronto Hockey League is looking to expand our Rink Staff, particularly in the East End of the city, for the upcoming 2025–26 season. If you're interested in being part of the team, please review the expectations and responsibilities below.
Position: Rink Attendant
Expectations
- Participate in required GTHL training sessions.
- Be familiar with GTHL rules, regulations, policies, and programs.
- Remain visible and active inside the rink (not stationed in the front office).
- Arrive 75 minutes prior to game time to set up dressing room assignments.
- Stay until the final game of the shift is completed.
Responsibilities
- Collect game sheet fees from teams to pay officials and timekeepers.
- Contact Central Registry for any late-arriving officials or timekeepers and follow the GTHL’s reporting procedures.
- Report any schedule changes or game cancellations to arena staff.
- Coordinate and adjust the flood schedule with arena staff as needed.
- Operate GTHL-issued computer hardware (iPads) for processing game information.
- Observe and report any inappropriate behaviour, safety concerns, or facility issues to the GTHL General Manager.
- Download and upload all electronic game sheets to the GTHL Portal at the beginning and end of each shift.
