AAA Tree Service Ltd is a North Vancouver company doing residential tree care for over 20 years, including tree removal, hedge trimming and stump grinding. We have a large base of clients who return for our services on an on-going basis. We take pride in our work delivering quality and professional service.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a full-time (8-4:30 Mon-Fri) physically fit and hardworking individual to join the team, preferably someone who has chainsaw or hedge trimming experience, or willing to learn. Valid BC Drivers license is a must, and a reliable vehicle to get to the yard each day, not on bus route.
Job Responsibilities:
You'll learn through on-the-job training to safely perform all aspects of the position, including:
- Cleaning up job site debris with rakes and blowers; running branches through chipper.
- Lifting rounds of wood and loading truck.
- Hedge trimming and tree pruning.
- Follows directions, shows initiative and completes tasks on time.
- Be alert and cautious when performing tasks to avoid injuries.
- Perform strenuous & sometimes repetitive work in all weather conditions.
- Operate a chipper safely, maintain and operate power equipment (hedge trimmers, blowers & chainsaws).
- Assist with driving, backing up, dumping and parking trucks with trailers.
Starting wage is $24/hr based on experience. PLEASE REPLY WITH RESUME.
