Position Overview:
We are currently seeking hardworking and dependable Laborers to join our team. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the commercial glazing trade while working alongside skilled glaziers and installers. Successful candidates will be team-oriented, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
Responsibilities:
Assist glaziers with installation of glass, aluminum frames, and other glazing components
Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment on job sites
Perform basic use of hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment
Prepare, clean, and maintain work areas
Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
Provide general support to crews as directed by supervisors
Handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights
Qualifications:
Previous construction or labor experience is an asset but not required – training provided
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs
Reliable transportation to job sites
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn
