We are seeking a dedicated general worker to join our team!
The general worker plays an important role in supporting both the production and maintenance departments. He/She will help maintain the cleanliness and functionality of CNC machines and other equipment, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regularly scheduled plant tour to refill coolant and oil and collect metal chips;
- Ensure collected materials are disposed of safely without interrupting operations;
- Organize and manage consumable supplies in their designated areas;
- Report any equipment or supply issues to the maintenance supervisor;
- Conduct basic corrective and preventative maintenance tasks as required, including cleaning and lubrication and urgent minor repairs on CNC machines;
Job qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Good communication and teamwork abilities;
- Good sense of organization;
- Able to work independently and follow safety procedures;
- CNC machine knowledge is an asset;
- Bilingual (French and English) is an asset;
- Available to work in dayshift (7:30am-3:30pm).
