Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. Specialize in drywall, Mudding, Pot light installation etc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and have a passion for construction. This role involves assisting in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. The Construction Laborer will work closely with experienced tradespeople and contribute to the successful execution of construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
- Operate hand tools and heavy equipment as needed for various construction tasks.
- Support skilled tradespeople in tasks such as drywall installation, electrical work, and construction painting.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
- Participate in building structures, including framing and carpentry tasks.
- Perform welding duties when necessary to support structural integrity.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to minimize risks on the job site.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with construction estimating is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and operating heavy equipment is highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of drywall installation, electrical systems, construction painting, carpentry, building techniques, and welding will be beneficial.
- Ability to read schematics and follow detailed instructions is essential.
