Heavy Duty Construction Worker
Finn Construction Ltd. is looking for a hardworking, highly motivated individual to join the construction team. To qualify for this position you must have an understanding of construction work, be able to operate equipment and be physically fit for general labor. Must be capable of understanding specs and drawings and working independently and safely after receiving instructions from your supervisor.
The position is a full time permanent position subject to a three month probationary period. Wage is negotiable and will reflect applicant qualifications. The job requires someone willing to work long hours out of town with limited days off.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid driver’s license, class 1A driver’s license is a bonus
- Have a background in road construction, environmental remediation, landscaping, base work, concrete work or survey.
- Be willing to work long hours with limited days off during contracts
- Be available for out of town work
- Own a cell phone and reliable vehicle
- Have experience operating equipment (we run skid steers, dozers, excavators, graders, scrapers, packers, hydro-vacs, rock trucks etc...)
- Be able to work independently and show leadership qualities
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
