We are seeking a friendly and motivated full time Server to join our dynamic team in the fall to deliver exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding guest services, ensuring that each patron feels welcomed and well taken care of. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a warm and inviting manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials to enhance the dining experience.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise.
- Process payments accurately through cashiering procedures while handling cash and credit transactions responsibly.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services and satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help others and work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including kitchen processes, is an advantage.
