Bel-Air Toyota is looking for a FULL-TIME RECEPTIONIST
Hours : 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday
Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Automotive Sales Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our dealership. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our sales department and requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first attitude. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask effectively while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for clients and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet all showroom visitors in a warm, professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system
- Maintain the showroom's appearance and ensure promotional materials are stocked and current
- Manage guest check-ins and communicate arrivals to sales staff
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks including data entry, scanning, and filing
- Handle basic inquiries regarding vehicles, services, and store hours
- Ensure coffee stations, waiting areas, and reception desk are clean and organized
- Perform basic licensing tasks including verifying that vehicle paperwork is completed accurately
- License wholesale deals and register vehicles under the company name as needed
- Maintain and update the garage book to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Liaise with external licensing offices or services when required
- Organize and file all licensing-related documentation in accordance with dealership policies
Qualifications:
- Fluent in French and English is required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of customer service or receptionist experience preferred (automotive industry experience is an asset)
- Familiarity with basic vehicle licensing processes is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning dealership software/CRM systems
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to change
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
