Job Summary
The Retail key holder plays a crucial role in supporting the store's daily operations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This position involves assisting the Store and Assistant Manager in overseeing staff, managing inventory, and driving sales performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a passion for retail, with a focus on achieving sales targets while providing outstanding customer service.
Duties
- Assist in managing daily store operations and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Support the Store Manager in training, mentoring, and supervising staff to enhance their performance and productivity.
- Handle merchandising tasks to ensure attractive product displays that align with company standards.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical sales support to customers.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems effectively, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering processes.
- Engage with customers to promote sales through upselling techniques while addressing their needs and inquiries.
- Maintain inventory levels, assist with stock replenishment, and perform regular inventory audits.
- Foster a positive shopping environment by maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is preferred (bilingual or multilingual).
- Experience in retail sales with a solid understanding of technology sales and technical products.
- Familiarity with merchandising strategies that enhance product visibility and appeal.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Strong organizational skills to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally.
- Ability to demonstrate products confidently through engaging product demos.
