Overview
We are a Plant-Based sushi restaurant on Queen West looking for a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences while overseeing the daily operations of our front-of-house staff. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage and train front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, fostering a positive team environment.
- Handle cash management and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and health standards within the restaurant.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and service flow.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing, payments, and inventory management.
- Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance their dining experience.
- Monitor restaurant ambiance and cleanliness to create an inviting atmosphere for guests.
Experience
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant management is essential.
- Strong background in team management with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting in a restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable.
- Experience working with POS systems to streamline operations.
- Previous roles in hotels or the broader food industry will be considered an advantage.

Pay: $44,525.92-$55,000.00 per year
