Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly organized, reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented Medical Office Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. You will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring that team members have the support they need to work efficiently. The ideal candidate will be skilled at prioritizing tasks and working with minimal supervision, and will be self-motivated and trustworthy.
We are currently looking to fill two permanent shifts per week, plus additional coverage on a weekday and/or a weekend shift, as required.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies
- Manage appointments for RMTs
- Handle phone calls and all correspondence (e-mails, letters, etc.)
- Maintain medical records and databases, including personnel, financial, and other data
- Process insurance claims and point-of-sale transactions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical office administrator
- Direct billing insurance is a must
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and office management software
- Reliable transportation is required
- Relevant field experience in direct billing is preferred
