One Academy Front Desk Member Experience Associate - Morning, Evening and Weekend Shifts Available
What is a Member Experience Associate?
This position will give you the opportunity to be part of a community that is bigger than fitness – as you introduce new members to Toronto’s most effective group training facility.
As a Member Experience Associate, you will be responsible for showcasing our facility, familiarizing new members with our training programs, and providing next level customer service to all guests.

- Greet and Welcome Members: Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all members and guests as they enter the gym.
- Membership Services: Assist with new member sign-ups, membership inquiries, and account management.
- Check-In: Ensure all members and guests check in and out of the gym, verifying memberships and addressing any outstanding balances.
- Phone and Email Correspondence: Handle incoming calls and emails, addressing inquiries, and providing information about our services and programs.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately, including membership dues, retail sales, and any other fees.
- General Administrative Duties: Assist with various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
- Member Assistance: Provide information on gym facilities, classes, and promotions, and assist members with their needs.
- Safety and Security: Monitor access to the facility, ensuring the safety and security of all members and guests.
- Customer Service: Resolve member concerns and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain Facility: Organize and maintain overall facility cleanliness, ensuring the gym is always member ready.
- Cafe Operations: Operate our coffee and smoothie bar – make smoothies, brew coffee and process transactions.
- Ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Flexible schedule, including morning, evening and weekend shifts preferred *Weekend availability necessary*
- 1+ years in a customer service role
- Friendly, approachable, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player who takes initiative
- Thrives in a fast paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Interest in Health & Fitness industry
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- MindBody experience is a bonus!
