Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent/Night Audit to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Multilingual or bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as they will enhance our guest services, but it is not a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle reservations and cancellations through phone systems and online platforms.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism.
- Maintain the front desk area in an organized and welcoming manner.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries as needed.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of guest information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective guest interactions.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in phone systems; familiarity with hotel management software is a plus.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- A passion for providing outstanding guest services in a hospitality setting.
