FRONT DESK
Queens Hotel is looking for a full-time/part-time front desk agent. The ideal candidate is someone who is friendly, outgoing and making sure the guests feel completely satisfied by providing efficient service.
Job duties includes, but are not limited to –
-Making sure guests receive a warm greeting and provide assistance
-Responsible for checking guests in and out
-Making sure all hotel standards and procedures are followed
-Issuing room keys
-Handling and processing payments
-Review daily arrival list and requests
-Respond to telephone, email, and in-person inquiries
-Knowledgeable of hotel area and surrounding areas
-Inform and update management on all guest related issues
-Ensuring supplies are well stocked at the Front Desk and keeping area tidy
-Communicating with other departments to ensure a positive guest experience
-Able to handle emergency situations (ie. Guest related issues, fire alarms, network problems)
-Perform other job related duties as instructed
Job Requirements:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent customer service
Able to work under pressure
Following instructions
Fluency in English written & spoken
Fluency in a second language is an asset
Excellent communication and observational skills
Maintain professional business confidentiality
Organized
Ability to prioritize schedule & multi-task
Able to problem solve
Friendly and professional attitude
Strong computer skills
Experience preferred.
