The night Auditor will review and accurately balances all hotel income for 24 hour operating period. Candidates will also be expected to perform standard front desk procedures and excel in customer service and attendance.

5. Checking in and checking out guests and all other front desk duties as is required.
6. Ensure the current day's revenue balances are reconciled, the payments to the guest ledger are processed, and the accounts receivables are balanced.
7. Must be reliable and able to complete the audit in a timeframe that does not hinder the next business day.
8. Prepare daily management reports as required.
9. Complete the update process on the front office system per established system guidelines.
10. Complete system back-ups as required.
11. Balance and verify the summary of daily transactions in the hotel and ensure that the hotel's computer systems are readied for the next day's business.
12. Balance and audit all Front Office postings and settlements.
13. Verify that the room revenue and the applicable taxes have been recorded.
14. Prepare the housekeeping assignment sheets.
15. Reconcile the food and beverage point of sale system to the PMS system.
16. Reconcile all miscellaneous revenue sources to the PMS system.
17. Responsible for the completion of daily In-house Management Reports.
18. Perform security and maintenance checks of building.
19. Setup Breakfast in restaurant if required.
20. Ensure air quality and lighting in meeting rooms is ready for meetings of the day.
21. Provide a high standard of customer service by efficiently and accurately dealing with all guest transactions.
22. Use of proper telephone etiquette, adhering to Front Office Standards, answering all calls in a timely and professional manner.
23. Acknowledge all customers that enter the lobby area and greets guests first.
24. Promote good will by being courteous, friendly, professional and helpful to guests and co-workers.
25. Take reservations as promptly and efficiently as possible with the knowledge that phone reservations take priority over all other forms of sales and customer service inquiries.
26. Applies the appropriate rate in accordance with the Front Desk SOPs.
27. Processes payments for all prepaid and third-party booking rates
28. Strong knowledge and use of Monte Carlo Inns Front Desk Procedures Manual.
29. Update Diamond Reward Member upgrades as required, block rooms, print labels and prepare key packets.
30. Check for special request, meal vouchers and prepare key packets if required.
31. Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, preparing deposit, and counting/securing assigned bank.
32. Issue, control and release guest safe-deposit boxes.
33. Have a strong knowledge of hotel promotions and specials.
34. Have a strong knowledge of fire and health and safety procedures.
35. Have a strong knowledge of conflict resolution procedures and provide detailed reports on incidents during the shift.
36. Maintain proper attendance.
37. All other duties as assigned.

Experience and Requirements:
1. A minimum of 2 years guest services related experience in a related industry.
2. Previous hotel experience would be considered a strong asset.
3. Bilingual would be considered a strong asset.
Education:
Hospitality/Tourism/Business degree would be considered a strong asset.
