Job Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Floor Care Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for providing specialized floor maintenance services including stripping and waxing of hard floors, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Ideal candidates take pride in their work, have an eye for detail, and are committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Responsibilities
- Perform stripping, sealing, and waxing of various floor types (VCT, tile, etc.)
- Operate auto scrubbers, buffers, and other floor care equipment
- Extract and deep clean carpets using commercial-grade machines
- Spot clean and treat stains on carpeted areas
- Sweep, mop, and detail floors as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and use proper PPE
- Maintain and clean equipment regularly
- Report any damages, safety issues, or maintenance needs
Skills
- Previous experience in floor care and carpet cleaning (required)
- Familiarity with floor care equipment and cleaning chemicals
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and/or overnight shifts if required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Job Types: Full-time, Casual
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
