Position: Glue-Down Hardwood Flooring Installer
Reports to: Installation Forman & Mehran Khayeri
Position Summary
The installer must be able to deliver not only an excellent flooring installation but a customer experience that meets the European Flooring high customer service standards. This includes working cleanly, preventing damage to the residence, and working in a respectful manner.
Responsibilities:
- Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
- Prepare floors for installations
- Prepare and install hardwood floors
- Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
- Conduct moisture, ph., temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
- Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Glue-Down installation role
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Passion for growth with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a curiosity to learn
- Installation Specialization
- Hardwood intricate patterns flooring
- Hardwood strip flooring
- This role is physically demanding, that requires hand-eye co-ordination, ability to distinguish between colours. Bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads
