Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting practices, and providing support for budgeting and payroll processes. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting software and excellent organizational skills to maintain financial integrity.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, providing insights into financial performance.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online for record-keeping and reporting.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial planning and analysis.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and budgeting techniques.
- Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
