Summary
We are seeking individuals for Farm Employment at Creekwood Farms Ltd. This role is essential in supporting our operations to ensure the well-being of our chickens and the quality of our egg and chicken production. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the daily care of chickens, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health.
- Be able to handle heavy lifting tasks as required for farm operations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various farm tasks as needed.
- Be instrumental in setting up and creating a clean environment for baby chicks which would include pressure washing and disinfection of facilities as well as shipping and supervising bird moves.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to farm equipment and machinery.
- Experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools is an asset.
