BCIT School Of Health Sciences is seeking a regular, full-time (1.0 FTE) Faculty, Radiation Therapy to teach in the Bachelor of Science Radiation Therapy Program.
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will participate in the preparation and delivery in a variety of radiation therapy lectures and labs with an emphasis on radiation therapy principles; as well as provide assessment of student learning. The successful applicant may also act as clinical coordinator, communicating with students and clinical personnel, as well as providing program leadership, collaboration and interprofessional communication as part of these responsibilities.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in radiation therapy required.
- Master’s degree preferred (in education, health sciences or other relevant designation); if not, the successful candidate should anticipate completing a Master’s degree within 5 years of commencing.
License(s)/Certifications(s):
- Current registration or eligibility to register with CAMRT (radiation therapy).
Experience:
- Minimum three (3) years’ recent relevant clinical experience in radiation therapy.
- Experience with education practices, student instruction and evaluation preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills, plus the ability to organize work and complete on deadline
- Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
- Computer proficiency in a Windows-based environment.
Software/Computer Application(s) and Expertise:
- Microsoft, Excel
Communication/Interpersonal Skills:
- Team player committed to a collaborative approach to education and training
- Problem solving skills an asset
Administrative Skills (e.g., prioritizing, minute taking, wp speed, etc.):

Salary Range
Salary Range: $65,045 - $113,545 per annum.
Additional Salary Information
Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
