Role Summary
Titanium Ford is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance/Facilities Manager to oversee the upkeep and functionality of our dealership’s facilities. This critical role ensures our property, equipment, and systems remain in top condition, providing a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for customers and employees.
This position is also responsible for managing the lot staff, coordinating vehicle staging, cleanliness, and overall presentation to meet customer expectations and support the sales and service departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance of all dealership facilities, including the showroom, service bays, offices, and exterior grounds.
- Conduct or coordinate repairs, installations, and upgrades to maintain a functional and attractive environment.
- Develop and execute a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize disruptions and extend the life of equipment and facilities.
- Liaise with the Sales and Service Department management team to coordinate overall functionality of the inventory on and off the lot.
- Manage and train all lot staff as well as detail staff and coordinate cleaning of vehicles, lot, and parking.
- Run a fast-paced environment while keeping organization and team structure.
- Review, organize, and carry out new and used vehicle line-ups as required by the Sales Department.
- Verify receipt of new cars delivered to dealer and park vehicles in new car lot in orderly manner.
- Manage and oversee all vehicle lock-up and master key storage.
- Organize and facilitate with General Manager, General Sales Manager, and Sales Manager(s) to schedule and aid with vehicle deliveries.
- Collect and install license plates, vehicle accessories, and conduct the last overall cleanliness inspection prior to placing vehicle in the delivery bay.
- Direct guests to appropriate parking areas or parking spaces as necessary.
- Communicate any workplace hazards that are present in the work environment in a timely manner; facilitate prompt correction or reporting.
- Perform and maintain general work area maintenance, sweeping, tidying up, washing, and cleaning of the area.
- Keep shop equipment operating by following operation instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance, etc.
- Facilitate service washes
- Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Previous experience in maintenance, lot management, detailing, or a related role in the automotive industry preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to train and manage a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform manual tasks such as moving vehicles.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
