Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our production team. This role involves bending, forming, and shaping metal components according to work orders and blueprints using a variety of specialized fabrication machines. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with structural metal forming, machine setup, and quality control in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines to bend metal structural shapes including bars, rods, angles, pipes, and tubes to specified angles or contours
- Operate machines such as Ercolina (Top Bender up to 2-3/8” OD) and Tauring (coil-type bender)
- Perform machine setups with multiple bend profiles in one part
- Review work orders, blueprints, or drawings to determine specifications, materials, and setup requirements
- Retrieve materials and fabricate parts per job specifications
- Inspect finished work visually and with measuring tools (tape rule, calipers, gauges) to ensure quality standards
- Package finished components for shipping and install protective devices as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Perform troubleshooting as necessary to resolve issues during fabrication
- Follow ISO quality standards and safety protocols at all times
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Manager
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to work overtime
Skill Factors:
- Safe and efficient use of shop machinery
- Experience with machine setups and multiple fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Skilled in CNC production environments
- Strong understanding of various metal types and fabrication techniques
- Proficient in measuring components to specifications
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision
- Ability to work to budget, schedule, and labor targets

- Able to stand for extended periods and work in warm conditions during summer months
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Technical training through college or trade school is an asset
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with fabrication shop equipment
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in metalworking preferred
- Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations
Shift Details:
This is a full-time day shift position. Hours and schedule will be discussed during the interview.
Location:
This position is located in Princeton, Ontario, just 25 minutes from Kitchener/Cambridge and 10 minutes from Brantford.
