We are looking to hire a reliable and organized Export Logistics Coordinator to support and manage international shipment processes and logistics operations.
Job Description
The Export Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing outbound export shipments, coordinating with carriers and freight forwarders, and ensuring compliance with international trade documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Export Coordination
- Prepare and review all export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading (BOL), and certificates of origin.
- Coordinate freight bookings with carriers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and provide updates to internal teams and clients.
- Ensure compliance with global customs and shipping regulations.
- Address and resolve any logistics delays or customs issues.
- Maintain and organize shipping records and contracts for audit readiness.
Administrative Support
- Communicate with suppliers and customers to confirm shipment details and timelines.
- Assist in document management, contract updates, and general logistics administration.
- Support ongoing process improvements within the supply chain function.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years in export coordination or logistics; international trade experience is highly valued.
- Software Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and logistics platforms.
- Knowledge Base: Familiarity with international shipping regulations and freight forwarding practices.
- Problem-Solving: Able to troubleshoot shipment and customs issues efficiently.
- Communication: Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
