Job Summary:
Join the Summer Trail Crew to support two key areas of mountain maintenance: improving and maintaining gladded ski trails, and completing vegetation management in alignment with Fire Smart practices. This is a field-based, physically demanding role requiring comfort with chainsaw operation, hiking in steep and challenging terrain, and working safely as part of a small team.
Job Specifications:
- Expected Pay Range: $22.00/hr - $28.43/hr
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

Gladded Ski Trail Maintenance
- Remove new growth, deadfall, and brush to ensure a safe and great ski/ride experience
- Use chainsaws to buck and limb trees as needed for guest safety and trail quality
- Hike and work across steep, uneven terrain in remote areas of the mountain

Vegetation & Fire Smart Work
- Perform vegetation control in overgrown areas to maintain summer access and reduce fire risk
- Support FireSmart projects through ladder fuel reduction, brush thinning, and selective tree removal
- Ensure safe tool operation and compliance with environmental best practices
- Maintain and perform routine maintenance on tools and chainsaws
- Assist the crew with other duties as assigned
- Follow and perform all company and departmental policies and safety procedures
