Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team. If you have a passion for creating visually appealing and delicious cakes, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Design and decorate various types of cakes according to customer specifications for pre-orders and decorating ready to go cakes and cupcakes for the store
- Ensure the quality and consistency of cake decorations
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards while working in the kitchen
- Collaborate with the baking team to fulfill orders efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with cake selection and packaging
Experience:
- Prior experience in cake decorating or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and food safety practices
- Experience in a restaurant, bakery, or kitchen environment is beneficial
- Ability to cook and bake is a plus
- Strong skills in cake decorating techniques
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
