As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining a clean work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform haircuts, shaves, and styling services tailored to client preferences.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations.
- Sanitate tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, managing appointments and walk-in clients efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and meet retail sales goals.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the barbershop.
Requirements
- Valid barbering license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Proven experience in barbering and grooming services.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Ability to sanitize tools and maintain a clean work environment consistently.
- Experience in retail sales or upselling is a plus but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn new techniques.
