Responsibilities
- Perform haircuts, shaves, and other grooming services to meet client specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized service.
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing customer inquiries.
- Promote retail products and services through upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and grooming techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong skills in hair styling, cutting techniques, and grooming services.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in retail sales is preferred, with an emphasis on upselling products.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and health regulations related to barbering.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- A valid barbering license as required by state regulations.
