We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers will be key to your success in this role.

Duties

• Provide professional haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to individual client preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations for hairstyles and products.
• Upsell retail products and services to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals.
• Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments.
• Foster a positive environment by maintaining excellent customer service standards and addressing any client concerns promptly.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
• Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and shaving.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Experience in retail sales and upselling is preferred but not required.
• Ability to sanitize tools and maintain a clean work environment consistently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor that promotes client loyalty.
• A valid barbering license or certification as required by state regulations.

Pay: $16.55-$38.27 per hour
