Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and tutoring, with the ability to communicate effectively with students of various ages. We specialize in entrance into private schools in Ontario.
Duties
- Provide one-on-one or small group Private School Test Preparation Programs.
- Develop/Follow lesson plans and instructional materials that align with Curriculum Standards
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a classroom setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students
- Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and understanding of diverse learning styles
- Classroom experience is highly desirable, showcasing the ability to manage groups of students effectively
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
