Tutor Doctor Windsor/Essex is looking to add several tutors to our team for the fall semester!
As a tutor for Tutor Doctor you will be able to:
- Set your own schedule
- Work one-on-one with students to help them achieve their academic goals
- Help students build academic confidence
Our ideal candidate has experience teaching/tutoring students and a passion for education. Tutors that can tutor multiple subjects (math, science, and English) are preferred.
Tutoring is a great fit for anyone who is looking for flexible part-time working hours, whether you're an Ontario Certified Teacher, a supply teacher, a student, a teacher-in-training, or a recent university graduate.
This position will involve both in-person and online tutoring in Windsor-Essex. We are hiring tutors residing/working in Windsor, Amherstburg, Leamington, Kingsville, Essex, and surrounding areas.
Successful candidates must have a vehicle or another form of reliable transportation.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English (required)
- Experience leading students with dyslexia, ADHD, and various learning disabilities (preferred)
- Previous Experience working with children and youth (preferred)
- Has an ability to confidently teach multiple subjects (preferred)
- Has a G2 or G driver's license and unrestricted access to a vehicle (preferred)
All candidates must successfully pass a Vulnerability Sector screening test.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: $22.00 per hour
