About the Role:
A well-known craft brewery is looking for a Taproom & Events Manager to lead taproom operations and event planning. This dynamic role is perfect for someone with strong hospitality and leadership experience who wants to help build community, create memorable experiences, and promote locally brewed craft beer.
What You'll Do:Taproom Leadership
- Hire, train, and manage a high-performing serving team
- Create staffing schedules for taproom and events
- Maintain a clean, warm, and welcoming environment
- Oversee inventory of beer and merchandise
- Ensure accurate and efficient transaction handling
Customer Experience & Brand Building
- Educate staff and customers on the beer lineup and brewery story
- Promote where customers can find the brewery's products
- Provide exceptional service to ensure a memorable tasting experience
Events & Promotions
- Plan and manage private and public events (on- and off-site)
- Lead seasonal event staff and ensure smooth execution
- Collaborate on marketing campaigns and event promotions
- Track and analyze event ROI and guest feedback
- Maintain an annual calendar of events
Who You Are:
- 2+ years in hospitality, event management, or related field
- A natural leader who motivates and directs a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Passionate about craft beer and creating community
Bonus If You Have:
- A degree in Hospitality, Events, or Marketing
- Previous taproom, brewery, or bar management experience
- Experience managing sales goals and customer engagement strategies
- Social media or event promotion experience
Working Conditions:
- Active, hands-on role with frequent standing, lifting (up to 25kg), and event setup
- Exposure to a lively brewery and taproom environment
- Loud noise levels and temperature changes are common
