Position Overview
The Event Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of events hosted at our venue. This role requires strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to thrive under pressure while juggling multiple events.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that every event is executed flawlessly. This role involves planning, coordinating, and managing various events, from corporate meetings to social gatherings, while maintaining a strong focus on guest services and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize events from conception to completion, ensuring all aspects are executed smoothly.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and adhered to.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and service providers to secure necessary resources.
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Oversee event logistics including setup, breakdown, and on-site management.
- Provide exceptional guest services before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with hotel or restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery during events.
- Utilize strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years in event planning, hospitality, or customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Calm under pressure and solution-oriented
- Proven experience in event coordination or a related field within the hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management related to events.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
- Knowledge of market trends in the hospitality sector is a plus.
- Experience in guest services within hotels or restaurants is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with a keen attention to detail.

Pay: $40,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
