Description of the role:
Our unique and prestigious event venue is looking for an Event Venue Service Assistant Manager to ensure the seamless coordination of our upcoming wedding, corporate, and private events.
As theEvent Venue Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for becoming the main liaison for clients following the venue booking. You will be required to ensure a seamless client onboarding following our internal process and conduct critical meetings with the clients as needed. Daily tasks will include supporting clients via email, phone, and/or meetings from pre-event to post-event. You will also be required to act as the Venue Day of Event Coordinator and ensure a smooth and memorable experience for clients and their guests.
Responsibilities:
- Build trust and positive rapport with clients.
- Manage the BEO with client changes, ensuring all details are kept up to date.
- Communicate and enforce event venue security and policy regulations and protocols.
- Manage the main email inbox and communication with clients, and reply to emails promptly.
- Ensure payments and event details are finalized no later than 14-days before events.
- Review/Audit and Approve BEOs 7-days prior to each event to ensure all critical information is captured and/or follow up with clients to review/remind/obtain missing information.
- Take the lead as the Day of Event Coordinator, supervise events, and tend to any incidents or queries that may arise.
- Coordinate event material drop-off and storage.
- Ensure all venue supplies and materials needed for the events are in place and there is adequate inventory.
- Regularly walk the venue to communicate with vendors, clients, and guests and to ensure all event needs are met and questions/concerns are addressed
- Ensure the venue is clean and organized, ready for events.
- Onboard and train new hires.
- Enforce company employee rules and regulations.
- Communicate and enforce security regulations and protocols.
- Guide vendors as needed, explaining the rules & regulations of the facility.
- Communicate and enforce all security regulations and protocols.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of customer service or event-related experience; degree in hospitality, event planning, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in event coordination or a related field with a track record of creating memorable experiences.
- Passion for weddings, events, and hospitality, with experience in handling multiple events/clients.
- An outgoing, positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Sound knowledge of safety measures and risk management strategies.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications; knowledge of CRM and other software is a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Have a reliable source of transportation.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
