Position Summary:
We are looking for an outgoing and spirited Event Host to bring our dating events to life throughout Vancouver!
Preference will be given to applicants who reside in and/or can commute to the following areas:
- Downtown Vancouver
- North Vancouver
- New Westminster
- Richmond
- Langley
You will be working with the Events Manager to take the reins on event promotion, facilitation, and execution, including:
- Using various social media platforms to promote events and gather attendees
- Set up the events at each location
- Take attendance and hand out score cards
- Facilitate ice breaker activities and speed dating
- Tend to dater needs, questions, and concerns
- Distribute Flare swag and promotional items
- Complete event tear-down tasks
Requirements & Qualifications
- Outgoing & enthusiastic personality
- Ability to work autonomously without supervision
- Articulate and well spoken
- Highly organized and able to think on your feet
- Comfortable speaking in groups and leading events
