Reporting to the Director, ERP Solutions, the ERP System Analyst is a primary support role for Sofina’s ERP environment. It assists with optimizing the system for maximum effectiveness and enables user productivity through timely and efficient technical support. It acts as a bridge between the ERP system and business needs across all departments. It ensures organizational goals are met and Operations are supported effectively. Onsite technical support and maintenance of three operational facilities will ensure efficient functioning of IT infrastructure.
Key Accountabilities:
ERP Support
• Troubleshoot and resolve ERP related user process issues, recording root cause investigation, outcome and resolution via Sofina’s Service Desk.
• Configure system to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Create, manage, and modify user access permissions in accordance with required authorization procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on how to use the ERP system effectively.
• Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for end user processes and ERP troubleshooting support.
• Partner with ERP stakeholders to identify and implement continuous improvements that meet Sofina’s organizational goals.
• Act as liaison with third-party solution providers including ERP vendors.
• Provide tier one support for product labelling and inventory management solutions.
IT Operations
• Monitor infrastructure to ensure optimal performance of servers, networks, and other IT resources.
• Provide technical support to end-users with systems, software, and hardware including, but not limited to, hand scanners and printers,
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with vendors on maintenance, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
Requirements:
◦ Degree in computer science, IT or a related field with minimum 3 years’ experience is preferred.
◦ Strong understanding of ERP systems, including their modules and functionalities, IT concepts and technologies. Prior experience with CSB is highly desirable.
◦ Ability to analyse data and identify areas for improvement.
◦ Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the ERP system.
◦ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
◦ Excellent customer service skills with a focus on process excellence and data quality.
◦ Ability to independently support system implementation and / or upgrade projects.
◦ On an emergency, regular, and ad hoc basis this position requires travelling to three Sofina locations within the province of British Columbia [Abbotsford, Port Coquitlam]. After hours support is expected on an irregular basis.
The successful candidate will be based at our primary meat processing plant.
