About the Job
We are looking for a Senior Oracle E-Business Suite Tecno-Functional Specialist who is a self-starter and can work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment to join our team!
As a Senior Oracle EBS Specialist, you will combine technical and functional expertise to manage and optimize Oracle EBS systems within our business. You will be responsible for implementing, customizing, and maintaining Oracle EBS applications, working with various modules and processes.
This hybrid role follows a 60/40 schedule, with three days per week required in our Winnipeg office. While applicants outside of Winnipeg may be considered, relocation support is not available. Preference will be given to candidates who are local to the area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and configuring functional modules of Oracle EBS, often working directly with stakeholders.
- Investigating and resolving technical and functional issues within the system, potentially involving SQL and PL/SQL.
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements to design and develop customized Oracle EBS solutions that meet specific needs.
- Designing and documenting Oracle EBS solutions, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business processes.
- Help build and maintain integrations with other ERP and Data Analytics systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business users and technical teams, to ensure smooth integration and communication.
- Providing training and knowledge transfer to end-users and junior team members, helping them understand and utilize the system effectively.
- Monitoring system performance and assisting with upgrades and patches to maintain optimal system functionality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience with Oracle EBS implementation, customization, and maintenance
- Deep understanding of specific Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Finance, Inventory, Purchasing)
- Understanding of business processes and how Oracle EBS can be used to support them
- Strong understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle EBS system architecture, ability to design and develop custom solutions using Forms, Reports, PL-SQL, Workflow, Interfaces, XML and FSG reports
- Knowledge/Hands on experience working with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE/OBIA)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a team player attitude
- Good time-management and communication skills, both written and oral
- Sense of accountability and utilizing independent judgement
- The role may require up to 10% travel across sites
