The Position:
Project location is in Vancouver, 5/2 or 6/1 schedule.
- Oversee mechanics and daily tasks.
- Provide leadership and direction to maintenance team.
- Develop maintenance plan and schedule needed repairs.
- Ensure required spare parts are on hand for equipment needs.
- Work along side the production team to ensure schedules are met and all equipment deffiencies are reported and communicated.
- Complete required paperwork, daily reports and monitor daily work orders.
- Must have experience working on Major brands of equipment John Deere, Cat, Volvo, Komatsu ect. Experience working on tunneling and excavating projects considered an asset.
- Assist technicians in the field when required.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Ticket. RSE considered an asset.
- Minimum 5 years field experience.
- Minimum 3 years supervisor experience.
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel.
- Conduct yourself in a professional and safe manner that reflects the goals, expectations and image of Kiwi Wrench Ltd.
- Ability to lift and manage 50lbs without assistance.
- Complete pre employment drug and alcohol testing.
