Job Description:
The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing and presenting accurate estimates for all potential projects, based on both client submissions and project plans. This critical role ensures that projects are financially viable and competitive in the marketplace.

What You Will Do:
- Estimate project costs and changes, and submit tenders
- Review contracts for onerous clauses and conditions.
- Maintain good relationship with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end users.
- Identify potential business opportunities with customers.
- Purchase materials and equipment.
- Work with Operations Manager, and Service Electricians to develop work and small project scheduling.
- Manage project financial performance, including billing responsibilities.
- Manage the project and be present on project sites on a regular basis.
- Arrange for project manuals/Power quality reports to be completed.
- Review the project at completion with the foreman and superintendent to discuss successes and challenges.
- Performs other duties as required.
What You Will Bring:
- Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Technologist diploma/certificate.
- Strong Knowledge of the CSA Electrical Code
- 5 years' experience in Electrical Estimating, and/or Project Management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good computer skills and proficient in MS Office (word, excel, outlook, etc.).
- Experience in Accubid is an asset.
- FSR A or B certificate is an asset.
- Experience with high voltage and preventative maintenance work, also an asset.
- Ability to provide own transportation to and from work.

$105,000 - $120,000
