We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems & be capable of creating estimates & takeoffs. This role requires a strong ability to read blueprints and schematics & knowledge of how to complete accurate takeoffs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical estimates for commercial & industrial projects, including design-build, service work & tenders.
- Calculate material takeoffs, labour requirements, and equipment costs based on specs, drawings & or provided details
- Perform additional duties as needed to achieve sales goals
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to discuss and refine project scope and requirements.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather information necessary for accurate estimates.
- Monitor ongoing projects to adjust estimates based on changes in scope or unforeseen circumstances.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the estimation process.
