Position Overview:
As an Electrical Estimator, you will prepare accurate and competitive estimates for various electrical projects. Working closely with Project Managers and senior leadership, you will help ensure our bids align with the company's standards. This role is key to securing new projects and supporting our operational success.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
Review construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine scope and pricing.
Solicit and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
Use tools like Accubid Pro, LiveCount, and Bluebeam for bids.
Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and tender reviews.
Submit bids on time and support project handovers with clear scope and budget info.
Track cost data and vendor pricing to improve estimate accuracy.
Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations.
Build relationships with clients, contractors, and partners.
Qualifications:
2+ years of estimating experience in electrical construction within Canada.
Must be located in Vancouver, BC or surrounding areas or must be willing to relocate.
Proficient in estimating software (Accubid Pro, LiveCount, Bluebeam).
Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and BC Building Code.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.

Compensation: $90,000-$110,000.00/yr
