Responsibilities

- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support each child's growth and development.
- Assess children's progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with special education professionals to provide tailored support for children with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and classroom activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Utilize computer skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and communication purposes.
- Demonstrate leadership in the classroom by guiding assistants or volunteers as needed.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential..
- Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain records efficiently.
- Time management skills to balance teaching responsibilities and administrative tasks effectively.
- Classroom experience that demonstrates effective teaching methods and engagement strategies.
